For Physicians

"Through the eyes of a child, a journey can be a small discovery or a great adventure. The healing process, too, is a journey -- one of determination, courage and collaboration. Together we renew the mind, body and spirit. " ( Quote provided by: COSACOSA- Art at large - Healing Art Project) Artists working together

At St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, the journey to healing begins with one child. From the tiniest infant to the teenager on the brink of adulthood, each child who takes that path here, along with his or her family, is guided by caring, compassionate advocates every step of the way.

When children come through our doors, they enter a medical world dedicated to them -- physically, emotionally and every other way that matters.

Along their journey, children meet accessible, understanding, experienced professionals who have spent their lives focusing on children's health and their respective specialties. Doctors who look beyond the medical charts to see the child within. Nurses who put children's needs first. Staff members who make the path easy and understandable.

Even our physical spaces are designed to put children at ease in an intimate, homelike, high-touch setting. Jungle murals decorate our walls. Train tracks point the way to different areas of the hospital. Tropical fish provide a relaxing focal point for patients. Services are clustered locally to make it easier for children undergoing multiple procedures.

We're here because we want the best for the children we serve. Get to know us the way we get to know the children we care for.

The journey begins here.
