At St.Christopher's Hospital for Children strive to serve our patients and families in a caring way. Our nursing staff is sensitive to and specializes in caring for the special needs of children and their families and is committed to upholding our standards of patient care. Our family-centered care provides a warm and caring environment for children and their families. At St.Christopher's Hospital we believe that the family unit is essential to a child's well being, especially when a child is in the hospital. Our nurses view the parents as integral members of the health care team. Parents know their children best. Our nurses recognize that parents can provide valuable information about their child to the nurses and other health team members. This information will assist us in providing some of the best care possible to your child and to you. Patient care is designed to promote physical, social, psychological and spiritual health and growth. The nursing staff works collaboratively with other members of the health care team. This comprehensive team approach and individualized plan of care will address your child's needs during their visit or hospitalization and prepare you as parents to care for your child when you go home.
