St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is a nonsectarian regional children's medical center providing a wide range of pediatric medical, surgical, and subspecialty care to children from around the Delaware Valley and throughout the world through our affiliation with Drexel University College of Medicine.

Beds: 161 licensed beds

Rooms: 44 single rooms, 33 double rooms

Nearly 100 full-time faculty members

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: 30 beds

Transplant/Oncology Unit: 7 beds

Cardiac Care Unit: 8 beds

Intensive Care Unit: 8 beds

Special Care Unit: 12 beds

Operating Rooms: 6 operating rooms, 9 recovery rooms

Short Procedure Unit: 10 beds

Burn Center: 5 beds

Emergency Department: 20 examining rooms

Outpatient pediatric service with over 23,000 visits per year

 

 

St. Christopher’s is a referral center for the following:

  • Neonatal intensive care (level 3C with subspecialty surgical services and ECMO)
