St. Christopher’s has a long history of caring for the special needs of liver failure and transplant patients. The Transplant Team consists of medical professionals with knowledge and experience in pediatric transplantation. The Team takes pride in its dynamic communication with patients, families and referring physicians. Its association with the Adult Liver Transplant Program at Hahnemann University Hospital allows for collaboration in living donor transplantation, as well as transition to an adult program with familiar doctors when patients reach adulthood.
