Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship Approved at St. Christopher's Hospital

A Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship program has been approved for St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. The program was recently accredited for three years by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

The program will be led by Program Director Dr. Sarah Hoehn. Dr. Hoehn, Critical Care Chief Dr. Venkat Shankar and the entire critical care team worked hard to prepare the application for this program. They were assisted by members of St. Christopher’s Graduate Medical Education Committee who served as reviewers and mentors for the application process including Drs. Sarah Long, Alan Zubrow, Eleanor Smergel, Nancy Spector and Charles Reed. The first pediatric critical care fellow is anticipated to start in July 2010.
