Dr. Chialastri Honored by St. Christopher's Foundation for Children

Dr. Augustine “Gus” Chialastri, clinical director of the Department of Dentistry, was recently honored by St. Christopher’s Foundation for Children at the Fifth Annual Apple Blossom Ball.

Dr. Chialastri was honored by SCFC for the key role he played in launching the SCFC Ronald McDonald Care Mobile in 2001 and his continued oversight for the program and the dental residents who volunteer their time on the van. The mobile dental clinic provides free, quality dental screening and care for children aged 3 to 8 who live in the Greater Philadelphia Region.

He has been a part of St. Chris since 1949 and during his long tenure he has trained more than 100 dental residents.
