Nutrition Services

The Section has a Registered Dietitian who is available full-time to provide nutrition assessments and counseling for a wide range of nutrition-related issues.  Areas of specialty include: celiac disease, food allergies, constipation, inflammatory bowel disease, obesity, failure to thrive, feeding disorders and nutrition support.  Our dietitian meets with families to provide counseling and individualized diet plans or tube feeding regimens. 

In addition to providing nutrition assessments and counseling for our celiac patients during office visits, the Section coordinates a celiac support group.  During support group meetings we provide continual support for our patients and families to ensure their success with a gluten free diet.
