Nursing ExcellenceToday's nursing shortage is
health care's most pressing crisis, threatening access to care,
affordability of care and clinical quality. The Nursing Excellence
Initiative is designed to make St. Christopher's Hospital for Children
the most attractive employer for nurses by developing new approaches
that improve practice and leadership in nursing. In 2015, St.
Christopher’s was recognized for nursing excellence by attaining
Magnet® recognition as part of the American Nurses Credentialing
Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program®.
