COVID-19 may feel like a scary crisis, but together we can meet the challenge. Click to hear a short message from St. Christopher's physicians.
St. Christopher's and all our physicians are here for you, both for COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 concerns. We are open and providing care to existing and new patients. If you have a health concern for your child, it is always best to contact their primary care physician and they can do a phone consultation to determine if and where your child needs to be seen.
During the coronavirus outbreak, there are four ways to access care.
If your child needs care, don't wait and hope that the illness will resolve itself. In many cases, it can be worse to delay care and can lead to bigger problems. It's important to get vaccinations on schedule and manage chronic conditions like asthma and diabetes. Don't be afraid to come in to the hospital or to see one of our doctors – we are taking all precautions to keep patients and visitors safe.
You may have noticed some changes at our practices due to the coronavirus. We are following all guidelines to keep patients, families, providers and visitors safe. Here's what you need to know:
Parents and guardians are still allowed to visit inpatients at St. Christopher's Hospital. However, only one parent or guardian at a time is permitted in the patient's room. In addition, for your own safety, no one should wait in hallways in patient areas, please wait in the lobby and maintain appropriate social distancing.
