How to Access Care

St. Christopher's and all our physicians are here for you, both for COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 concerns. We are open and providing care to existing and new patients.  If you have a health concern for your child, it is always best to contact their primary care physician and they can do a phone consultation to determine if and where your child needs to be seen.

During the coronavirus outbreak, there are four ways to access care.

  • Phone - Call (215) 427-5000 to schedule an appointment, or contact one of our satellite locations directly.
  • Virtual Care - Visit with a physician online through our video telemedicine option – both scheduled and on-demand appointments are available.
  • Urgent Care - Visit one of our two convenient locations for your urgent care needs:

  • Emergency Department - Come in to the Emergency Room 24/7, if needed.

Don't Delay

If your child needs care, don't wait and hope that the illness will resolve itself. In many cases, it can be worse to delay care and can lead to bigger problems. It's important to get vaccinations on schedule and manage chronic conditions like asthma and diabetes. Don't be afraid to come in to the hospital or to see one of our doctors – we are taking all precautions to keep patients and visitors safe.

What to expect when you come in to St. Christopher's

You may have noticed some changes at our practices due to the coronavirus. We are following all guidelines to keep patients, families, providers and visitors safe. Here's what you need to know:

  • Elective procedures have been postponed temporarily.
  • We are pre-screening visitors about symptoms, contact with known COVID-19 cases and travel history.
  • We are requiring all visitors to wear a mask/face covering at all times while in the main hospital or one of our satellite locations.
  • You will see all our staff and providers are wearing masks and eyewear at all times, plus gloves and gowns where appropriate.
  • We are cleaning throughout the facility more frequently. We are also using a UV-light disinfecting robot throughout the hospital.

Current Visitor Policy

Parents and guardians are still allowed to visit inpatients at St. Christopher's Hospital. However, only one parent or guardian at a time is permitted in the patient's room. In addition, for your own safety, no one should wait in hallways in patient areas, please wait in the lobby and maintain appropriate social distancing.
