We’re not letting the pandemic cancel our annual celebration – we’re going virtual! For the tenth straight year, we are celebrating summer with a Virtual Back to School Carnival for Philadelphia patients and families. Since the carnival’s inception, the free event has entertained nearly 13,000 children and their families, and provided school supplies to thousands of children. The free event is hosted by St. Christopher’s Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs and Drexel University College of Medicine.
Backpacks full of essential school supplies for pre-K through high school kids will be distributed in a drive-up distribution on August 12th and August 13th from 9:00 am-2:00 pm. The virtual carnival will go live at 9:00 a.m. on August 14th and include five tents for kids and families.
