Center for the Urban Child

At the Center for the Urban Child, our primary care pediatric providers provide comprehensive well care and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses for children from birth to 21 years of age. Throughout this age spectrum, our team believes in a wholesome approach of primary care including preventive care, parenting advice, behavioral, developmental counseling as well as addressing the inequities that contribute to health disparities in children and their families throughout Philadelphia.

Preventive Care

We recommend regularly scheduled well child exams and the appropriate screenings and immunizations to protect your child's health. Our pediatric preventive care services include a head-to-toe physical exam, immunizations, and providing parents and patients with education and advice on various age-appropriate health maintenance topics.
