St. Christopher’s Kidney Center for Children is an uniquely integrated program bringing together pediatric experts in nephrology, urology and transplant surgery, and assisted by specialized nursing supporting child-centered caregivers. The Center provides for the evaluation and care of children with acute and chronic kidney disease, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, hypertension (high blood pressure), and all types of body fluid and chemistry disturbances.
The Center’s pediatric nephrologists have more than 70 years combined experience in caring for children with kidney disease. The Center’s physicians, are faculty members at the Drexel University College of Medicine and are educational resources for local pediatric and family physicians.
Our overarching philosophy is excellent medicine practiced with a compassionate and family-oriented approach, allowing parents to clearly understand their children’s problems and receive the most up-to-date management.
