Occupational Therapy uses purposeful activity to facilitate independence and functioning in pediatric patients suffering from injury, disability or chronic illness. At St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children the focus is on development of movement as it relates to upper extremity/fine motor skills, perceptual and sensorimotor abilities, self-care and social skills. Recently renovated, the main campus therapy space now includes more private treatment space, a larger gym with a climbing wall and a sensory room with the ability to provide additional services.
St. Christopher’s has a highly qualified team of occupational therapists who are specially trained to work with the individual and unique needs of pediatric patients.
Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Outpatient and inpatient services are provided upon physician referral. For information or to schedule an appointment, call (215)-427-5487 at the Main Campus or (215)-572-5300 for Abington.
