For EMS Professionals

When seconds matter, experienced, trained and dedicated personnel available to care for critically ill and injured children is a key to optimized outcomes.
St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children offers training opportunities to our EMS professionals including Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation and specialized physician-led programs targeted at specific injury or illnesses such as traumatic head injury, burn management, seizure disorders and children with special needs.
As a certified Pennsylvania Department of Health Continuing Education Sponsor site, St. Christopher's offers pre-hospital clinicians the supportive knowledge necessary to successfully care for their pediatric patients in both the 911 and critical care transport settings.
An EMS Outreach Coordinator from Trauma Services is available to assist EMS agencies and clinicians with educational needs, clinical feedback and collaborative efforts to provide optimal care for the children of our communities.
