Our hospital participates in the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) congenital heart surgery database. STS is a nonprofit independent organization representing healthcare professionals worldwide in an effort to ensure the best possible outcomes for thoracic surgery. The data below provides volume and observed operative mortality year over year for the current 4 year STS reporting period January 2012 to December 2015.
